Tip Money To Make Money
This trick works by using Moxxi’s Tip Jar. However, you have to progress through the main story until you get to Moxxi’s Bottoms Up! bar. Inside, you will find the core mechanic behind this trick, the Tip Jar. (You won’t be able to tip initially, so just play through the main story.) Essentially, you can make a small tip or a big tip. The small tip consists of $100, while the big tip is $1,000. For the purpose of getting infinite money, keep making the big tips.
The way this tip mechanic works is that Moxxi has a chance of giving you a Legendary weapon every time you make a big tip. This could activate as soon as the first tip or take you even 20 tips or more. The Tip Jar will light up with hearts if this event activates, and it will not let you tip again briefly.
However, this is a random event, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get this immediately. If you keep making these tips, you will eventually accumulate a hoard of two Legendary weapons. You can get the following from this method:

Sell Your Weapons
Once you have obtained a bunch of weapons this way, or run out of cash to donate, just sell these weapons. Since these weapons are all Legendary, and have various modifiers, they can each sell for tens of thousands of dollars.
This will result in a net positive amount of money you gain by doing nothing other than tipping money and selling weapons.
