These are the 7 rarest cards in the Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution set due to their high value to both collectors and players.
The full list of cards in Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution has been released. Currently, there’s high speculation around which cards are going to be the rarest. Especially since we have a new rarity level called Mega Hyper Rare, similar to the Black White Rares from Black Bolt/White Flare. In this article, we will look at the rarest cards from this set and the estimated price for some of these at launch.
Top 7 Rarest Cards From Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution
As of now, these seven cards are considered to be extremely valuable due to their assigned rarity and artwork:

7) Lillie’s Determination Ultra Rare
Price: ~$89
Lillie’s Determination was one of the earliest Supporter cards announced. As such, all the full art cards featuring her are expected to sell well. This is especially noteworthy, as this is the only Ultra Rare to make this list.
6) Mega Lucario Ex Special Art Rare
Price: ~$89
Mega Lucario ex is one of the faces of this new set featuring Mega Evolutions. So, its Special Art Rare version, which sees it fight Mega Venusaur, is going to be attractive to some collectors.
5) Acerola’s Mischief Special Art Rare
Price: ~$131
Lillie is not the only Alolan character being sought after by collectors. The Special Art Rare of Acerola’s Mischief, which sees the Ghost-type trainer handling Mimikyu cloth, features gorgeous artwork. So, expect this card to increase in value over time.
4) Mega Gardevoir Ex Special Art Rare
Price: ~$151
And here’s the other Mega Evolution that is the face of this launch. While Gardevoir ex continues to dominate the meta, the new Mega Evolution has already caught a lot of collectors’ eyes. As for this Special Art Rare, we see Gardevoir in some sort of dream state, as we see its Mega in the background.
3) Lillie’s Determination Special Art Rare
Price: ~$411
The fact that the Special Art Rare of Lillie’s Determination is expected to be rarer than both Mega Evolutions speaks volumes about this card’s popularity. It features simple artwork of Lillie in her classic Sun/Moon outfit. In this card, she appears to be standing in a field of yellow flowers in front of a mountain with a snow top (possibly Mt. Lanakila) in the background. Additionally, the whole card looks like a beautiful painting, which will only increase its value to fans.
2) Mega Lucario Ex Mega Hyper Rare
Price: ~$460
As one of two new Mega Hyper Rares, it’s not shocking to see this card command a premium price. In addition to this, the Mega Hyper Rares are done in the form of ancient drawings, with a gold finish to tie the look together. So, expect this to have an impact on the card’s pricing.
1) Mega Gardevoir Ex Mega Hyper Rare
Price: ~$515
Yeah, the other Mega Hyper Rare is expected to be the rarest. However, it’s worth noting that Mega Gardevoir ex’s Mega Hyper Rare is commanding s=a significant price compared to Mega Lucario ex. Whether or not this changes when the set gets an official release will be interesting to see.
