Silent Hill F is an Unreal Engine 5 game that runs well on modern hardware such as RTX 40 Series cards. However, it is prone to traversal stuttering and is very CPU-intensive. Maxing out everything on entry-level cards, such as the RTX 4060, will result in VRAM issues. Below are the settings optimized for any of your RTX 40 Series GPUs, designed to strike a balance between visuals and performance.

Note: The game supports the DLSS 3.7 CNN model by default. You can opt for the transformer model via the Nvidia app or DLSS Swapper for better image quality. You will need a modern CPU to play this game; the Ryzen 5 5600X is a good starting point.

With GPUs such as RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti, we suggest sticking to 1080p with these settings. If you are running out of VRAM on the 8GB model, try lowering the texture settings and see how things improve.

The 4070 can seamlessly handle 1440p resolution with these settings. Since this is a slow-paced title, we suggest locking your frame rate to your monitor’s maximum refresh rate. That way, you will save a significant amount of power and temporarily counter stuttering to some extent.

Starting with the RTX 4070 Super, using 4K with DLSS Quality is highly plausible with these settings. With GPU power such as RTX 4080 and 4080 Super, we suggest using Lumen Epic for both Indirect Lighting and Reflections.

With the RTX 4090, maxing everything out will still result in a highly playable frame rate. If you are experiencing stuttering at this level of performance, capping your frame rate is a temporary solution to reduce stuttering.
