The Convergence shotgun, like many other legendary weapons, is obtained as a drop from a boss. In this case, that boss is Bramblesong. Bramblesong is a giant, winged, scorpion-like creature located at the end of the “Bittervein” Abandoned Auger Mine in Stoneblood Forest, Terminus.

Once you have defeated this boss, it has a chance of dropping the legendary weapon, Convergence. In case you do not obtain the weapon you are looking for, then there’s no problem. Simply re-fight the boss with the Moxxi’s Encore machines until it eventually drops what you’re looking for.

Legendary Convergence Shotgun Effects

  • Flavor Text: Steel chambers, late the pyres; of her salamandrine fires.
  • Asymptotic: Bullets bounce after the first hit to deal damage again.

Convergence is an extremely powerful weapon thanks to its unique trait, Asymptotic. This trait causes your bullets to bounce once after hitting enemies for the first time, then hitting them again. This trait essentially doubles the damage dealt. Each bullet has an independent chance of critical hits and more after the first bounce.

While the weapon is very powerful, there is one downside to it, that being its high rate of fire. As a result, the gun eats through your ammo reserves at a surprising speed. Apart from this, however, Convergence has no real flaws and is useful in just about every scenario. So, assuming you have enough ammo in stock, you can let loose and enjoy the carnage. That was everything to know about the Legendary Convergence Shotgun in Borderlands 4.
