Solving the field puzzle in Silent Hill f requires you to pull thorns to escape. This is a lot more difficult than it sounds. Not only is this puzzle one of the first tough challenges in the game, especially on higher difficulty, but the way it is presented to the player disorients them.
When you enter the field in Ebisugaoka Fields (Fog Town), you are trapped in a nightmare. You get caught in an endless rice field that loops you back if you wander off too far. Atmospherically speaking, you are surrounded by thick fog and scarecrows who happen to be dead students strung up on posts.
So, in this article, we will solve the field puzzle in Silent Hill f so that you can get past this nightmarish sequence as quickly as possible.
How To Solve the Silent Hill F Field Puzzle
Story Difficulty
In Story difficulty, you have to answer five riddles in the correct sequence. This involves going to the correct scarecrow and removing its “thorn” (actually a nail). Choose the wrong scarecrow, and it attacks. The first of these riddles is provided by a scarecrow that stands out because it has a white cloth on its head.

You will have to deal with a few hostile scarecrows every now and then. Either fight them or avoid them while doing the puzzle.
Hard Difficulty
Surprisingly, the riddles in Hard mode are easier to understand than in Story difficulty.

Lost in the Fog

Some of these clues can feel obtuse, but they do make sense when you think about what the riddle is saying.
