How To Look for Free Agents in EA FC 26

It is also possible to sign players for free before their contracts officially expire in EA FC 26, which is highly recommended. To find free agents, go to the transfers tab, then the Search tab, and set the minimum contract length to zero and the maximum to one. This ensures you only see players who either have no contract or just one year left.

After searching, you will only see limited player stats. To unlock more, you must scout them. The scouting time varies depending on the player. Once scouting is complete, you will eventually receive the “Approach to Sign” option, typically when a player has six months left on their contract.
