Good Vibrations is a side quest in Dying Light The Beast. This mission focuses on the experimental device made by Tom using all the components that Kyle had collected for him. In this article, we will go over how to complete the Good Vibrations side mission.
Walkthrough of the Good Vibrations Side Quest in Dying Light The Beast
These are the steps you follow in the Good Vibrations side quest:
- Complete the Dead Beats sidequest.
- Go to Tom’s test site near the promenade.
- You will find Tom in a house with a barred door. He says he has converted a loudspeaker into something capable of producing frequencies to hold off the zombies and monsters.
- Unfortunately, the device activates before Tom can find the right frequency. So, you have to protect the speaker from being attacked. This is quite challenging, so make sure you have the right weapons for this fight.
- Once you have handled the first wave, Tom asks you to connect the cables to the loudspeaker. Unfortunately, you get blasted by an electric shock for doing so, just as the second wave arrives.
- The second wave of infected is just as bad, but you must clear them out to complete the side quest.
Rewards for Completing Good Vibrations
Once you’ve cleared the area of the infected, you talk to a disappointed Tom, who was unable to find a frequency that could affect the infected but not the survivors. However, he does mention a side project he’s working on and gives you a blueprint of the loudspeaker. Even if it didn’t repel the infected, it “got their attention,” in his words. You will have to build your own loudspeaker.
