In Borderlands 4, there are two ways to obtain legendary items. The first is to claim them from chests scattered across the maps, and the second is farming specific bosses. The latter is more reliable than the former.
To obtain the Noisy Cricket Pistol, you need to defeat a boss named Sidney Pointylegs. You can encounter this enemy at the Ripper Drill Site in Prospects within the Fadefields region. Additionally, you can mark Horace’s Oversight as a landmark, situated to the left of the site.
Once you arrive, you will face a wave of enemies. After clearing them, head toward the end of the site, where you will encounter Sidney Pointylegs. Although defeating the monster is relatively easy, your hunt for the Legendary Pistol does not end there.
You need to use Moxxi’s Big Encore machine, located near the drill site, to farm the boss repeatedly. Keep farming until you obtain the Men in Black gun from the monster’s drops.
