On the north side, you will notice scattered planks and fragments of wood. Among this mess rests the sandal, waiting to be picked up.
There is an alternative route you can try. A narrow side path near the school entrance leads to wooden boards and a small box. This hidden turnoff also provides access to the sandal.
Either way, make sure you explore carefully, since once you step into the school, you cannot return.
How To Use Broken Japanese Geta Sandal
Once you get the sandal, deliver it to the third Jizo Statue. This statue is located on a mountain path that runs southeast of the school. It is tucked into a corner beside a house and close to a save shrine. The placement is subtle, but the statue is essential for progressing in the offering sequence.
To use the sandal, approach the statue and interact with it. The game will prompt you to present the item, and once accepted, the statue acknowledges it as the third of five offerings. This act moves you closer to the Sacred Sword.
