Here are the optimized settings for any of your RTX 40 series GPUs tuned for playing Skate at any desktop resolution.

Skate is an Early Access game that is well optimized for modern hardware. You can expect to have a good time playing the game at any resolution with an RTX 40 Series GPU. However, the game has its issues. It’s incredibly CPU-intensive and requires a modern, potent CPU to utilize your GPU fully. However, as a temporary, you can cap your frames. Below are the best settings to look out for.
Note: You will need a CPU that is equal to or greater than a Ryzen 5 5600X or Ryzen 7 3700X as a minimum for entry-level RTX 40 Series cards. The CPU requirements will be higher on the 70-80 Class cards in this series.

Skate – Best Settings For RTX 4060, RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 4070, RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 TI

With GPUs such as RTX 4060, up to the 4070 Ti, you can seamlessly rely on these settings and play the game. As mentioned earlier, you will require a powerful CPU to play this game without being CPU-bound with the 70-class cards. Pairing the Intel Core i5-12600K with 70-class cards is an ideal option.
We recommend capping your frame rate via RTSS and then enjoying the game. You will be within the VRR range of your display, provided it supports G-Sync or FreeSync, saving power and enjoying a stutter-free experience. The game’s frame time graph is already extremely flat, and we believe that the developers will address the CPU-bound nature in the future.
You can also turn off upscaling and play the game using TAA anti-aliasing. However, if you do this, the image will appear soft, and there will be noticeable shimmering within the image. XeSS does a great job of cleaning up the image and performs the anti-aliasing task much better than the in-game TAA implementation.

Skate – Best Settings For RTX 4070 Ti Super, RTX 4080, RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4090

With GPU power such as the 4070 Ti Super and above, this game will run flawlessly at 4K. The CPU-bound problem is also partially resolved, as the entire computational load is now GPU-bound rather than CPU-bound. We have kept upscaling enabled, but you can turn it off if you prefer. 4K is incredibly sharp. If you have a high-end monitor, the gameplay experience will be phenomenal.
