The release date of Monster Hunter Wilds’ title update 3 is right around the corner. Much like the past major title updates, TU3 comes packed with new and exciting content, including new Event Quests, Season of Accord, cosmetics, and most importantly, a new monster. However, unlike past two updates, TU3 also comes with a something even more exciting, the Final Fantasy 14 collaboration.
With TU3’s release, the collaboration event will go live, alongside the new monster – Omega Planetes. Alongside the collab, the game is also getting a new Arch-tempered monster, Nu Udra. That said, here’s everything you need to know about Monster Hunter WIlds’ title update 3’s release, and more.

Release Countdown for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3
Monster Hunter Wilds’ title update 3 is scheduled to be released on September 28, 2025 at 9:30 PM PDT. Although Capcom has not revealed the update’s download size, it’s expected to somewhere around the ballpark of 5-6 GB (15-20 GB with High Resolution Texture Pack). Here’s a countdown timer to help you keep track of TU3’s release on all platforms:
What Is Included in Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 3?
Unlike the previous title updates, which introduced two new monsters to the game, TU3 is adding only one. However, TU3 will feature two variants of Omega Planetes, which somewhat varying movesets. The regular Omega Planetes is available from HR41. However, if you defeat Omega Planetes, you will unlock Savage variant of the monster. The Savage version is expected to be a HR100 Quest.
However, Capcom has yet to reveal the primary requirements for that quest. It should be noted that both Omega Planetes and Omega Planetes (Savage) come with different armor sets and weapons. For Omega Planetes, you will have access to a new Great Sword and Dark Knight (armor set).

And for Omega Planetes, you will have access to Omega Attire α (armor set), Omega’s Sword (Sword & Shield), and Omega’s Rod with Kinsect – OMG (Insect Glaive).
In addition to Omega Planetes, TU3 also comes with a new Season of Accord, Dreamspell. And as most Season of Accords go, Dreamspell will feature its own unique cosmetics, Event Quests, and more. Suffice it to say, there’s plenty of content awaiting Monster Hunter Wilds fans with the upcoming TU3.
