Discover how to obtain the Buster Legendary Class Mod in Borderlands 4, including its location, farming method, unique effect, and best roll.
Buster is an Exo-Soldier Class Mod of Legendary rarity. It can be exclusively equipped by Rafa to significantly buff the Apophis Lance by introducing a chance not to consume charges. Buster is a must-have for nearly every Apophis Lance build, as it also provides several passive skill points and bonuses to round out Rafa’s stats.
Borderlands 4: Buster Legendary Class Mod Location
The most efficient way to obtain the Buster Class Mod is to farm the Primordial Guardian Origo. Buster is one of the three Legendary drops in the boss’ loot pool, which also includes the Kaoson SMG. To reach Primordial Guardian Origo, you’ll have to open the Arch of Origo Primordial Vault, located in the Low Keys area of Terminus Range.
Opening the vault requires collecting three Vault Fragments scattered throughout the Terminus Range. You can find them in The Pit, Cuspid Climb, and Windspear, marked by a large search area in each of these locations. After collecting all three fragments, make your way through the Arch of Origo Primordial Vault. Fight your way through to its final chamber to face Primordial Guardian Origo.
If you don’t receive Buster upon first defeating Primordial Guardian Origo, you can repeat the boss fight to farm it using Moxxi’s Big Encore. The machine is located at the boss arena’s entrance and accepts cash or Eridium. Turn off Ultimate Vault Hunter mode to beat the boss faster and obtain Buster more quickly.

The Buster usually comes with the “All-Out” prefix and is practically required while using the Apophis Lance action skill. The best roll for the Buster you can get is a +5 Per My Last passive skill. It introduces a mechanic that can potentially double the Action Skill Damage dealt by Rafa with each hit.
What makes obtaining the skill from Buster incredibly valuable is that Per My Last is at the bottom of the third branch of the People Person skill tree. Thanks to Buster, you can receive this DPS-magnifying passive skill without investing skill points in the third branch, which is ideal for most builds.
