Think of the Yellowed Calendar in Silent Hill F as your ticket to the next stage in Chapter 10. It’s not an optional collectible you can skip, because the whole Shimizu Residence sequence won’t move forward without it. The calendar itself looks old and worn, with the date 26 marked on it.

That small detail ties into the larger set of puzzles scattered around the residence. In this article, we will explore how to get the Yellowed Calendar in Silent Hill F.

How To Get the Yellowed Calendar in Silent Hill F

First, you need to step into the second version of the Shimizu Residence. You will only reach this place after picking up the earlier calendar marked with 6 and hanging it on the wall. That’s what unlocks Shimizu Residence II for you.

Once you are inside, make your way to the southwest part of the house. There’s a sliding door waiting for you there. Step through it, and a quick cutscene will play, showing you more about Hinako’s past. When it’s over, check the central table, and you will spot the Yellowed Calendar waiting for you. Pick it up.

How To Use the Yellowed Calendar in Silent Hill F

Now that you have got the Yellowed Calendar, head back to the main hallway of Shimizu Residence II. Look for the sliding door in the northeast section. On the right side of that door, you will find the spot to place the Yellowed Calendar. Once you hang it, the door unlocks, and you will finally be able to step into Shimizu Residence III.

It’s a simple action but an important one. Without placing the calendar, you will be stuck in the second residence. Think of this calendar as a link in a bigger chain. Along with other calendars and puzzles, it connects the pieces of Hinako’s home together. Even though it doesn’t boost your combat or give you upgrades, it’s what makes sure you keep moving through the chapter.
