The Obsidiron Ingots are an important crafting material added in the 99 Nights in the Forest Meteor Shower Update. You will need a lot of them to craft end-game gear at the Meteor Anvil. How To Obtain Obsidiron Ingots
You can make Obsidiron Ingots by melting Raw Obsidiron Ore in lava pools. You can find these by mining the black crystals at meteor impact sites across the map. After the third night, players will see the trigger for the meteor shower event. Afterwards, they can find numerous red and black crystals scattered around the map. Follow these steps to make the Obsidiron Ingots:
- Locate black crystals at one of the meteor impact sites as shown above.
- Use your axe to mine the crystal.
- It should drop one or more Raw Obsidiron Ores as pictured below.
- You have to free the ore from the rock. Use your mouse, or just tap and hold on mobile, to lift the ore and let it fall from a great height. This will break the rock.
- Now drop the Raw Obsidiron Ore into a pool of lava. You can travel to the Volcanic biome to find lava. Lava pools also form at some meteor impact sites.
- After touching lava, the ore will transform into an Obsidiron Ingot.
Obsidiron Ingot Uses
Their primary use is to craft items at the Meteor Anvil, which appears on the map after the meteor shower. Here is a list of things you can craft and their corresponding recipes using the ingots:
