Both of these cards are almost necessary additions to Grass-type decks due to how easy they make them function. Forest of Vitality lets Grass-type Pokemon evolve on the same turn they are played. This makes decks like Mega Venusaur ex and Toedscruel ex come into play much faster. It also lets the other card in this entry Meganium evolve quicker. Meganium’s ability Wild Growth makes one Basic Grass Energy provide the effect of two. This lowers the Energy cost of Grass-type attackers as well. These two combined can accelerate the rate at which Grass-type decks can function.
2) Fighting Gong and Premium Power Pro
Another duo of Trainer cards that have amazing utility for Fighting-type decks. Fighting Gong lets you find a Basic Fighting Energy or a Basic Fighting Pokemon of your choice. Meanwhile, Premium Power Pro gives your Fighting-type attackers a damage boost of 30. Additionally, using multiple of these cards stacks the damage boost. Not only Mega Lucario ex, the other Fighting-type decks like Cynthia’s Garchomp ex and Conkeldurr benefit from these two Item cards.
1) Lillie’s Determination
Lillie’s Determination might be the best card of this set. Usable in every deck out there, this Supporter lets you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw six cards. However, if you have all six of your Prizes, then you can draw eight cards instead. This makes Lillie’s Determination one of the best early game Supporters in the meta.
