Cloverpit isn’t the most beginner-friendly game. Your first few runs of the game will see you plummeting to your death into the pit over and over again. You may be tempted to give up on the game, but don’t! There’s a way to overcome the difficult learning curve by using all available tools at your disposal.

If you’re stuck in the early hours of Cloverpit and just can’t seem to figure things out, our guide is here to help make things easier. In this article, we shall offer the best beginner tips and tricks in Cloverpit.

Best Tips for Beginners in Cloverpit

Deposit Coins Every Single Round

It is important to deposit coins every single round. Not only do these coins help repay your debt, but they also return interest. This means you get extra coins based on what you deposit. So if you deposit 20 coins, you can get 2 coins out of it. 10 percent of what you deposit. Make sure to deposit every round so you can get the interest as a reward.

Use Charms

Charms are essential to beating the game. You will not be able to beat the game without them. Buy as many of them as you can. The game gives you plenty of Tickets to do so. If you have a charm you don’t like, you can deposit it into your empty drawers. What this does is it carries over the charm into your next run, converting it into a Corpse part. The Corpse parts are essential if you wish to get the “unlock the door” ending.

Use the Phone To Supplement Builds

Following your first deadline, a stranger will call you on the phone at the end of each round. The stranger will offer a selection of power-ups. You need to make a choice and pick one. While you have the option to skip, we do not recommend doing so. Each power-up supplements your build in one way or another, so put them to good use. If you don’t like what’s on offer, feel free to use a Ticket to reroll. Don’t use too many Tickets, however, as they’re better spent on charms.

Interact with Everything

The room you’re locked in is filled with secrets. One item may lead you to the store page of a completely different game, while another item may give you a toilet you desperately need. Each item serves a purpose and may help you unlock secret items. We recommend exploring the room after every Deadline to see what’s different. There are subtle changes, and you’ll catch them all if you explore.
