Fish It has several islands, each with its own beastiary and unique fish that you cannot find anywhere else. Naturally, all fish have different values, making certain locations more profitable than others. In this guide, we will explore some of the top islands and locations in Fish It where you should go AFK to make the biggest bank. The article will cover spots that will come in handy from the early to the late game.
Fish It: Best Farming Locations and Spots
Early Game
After you leave the starting island, the first spot where you should camp out is the Kohana Volcano. Not only do you get a free rod here (the Lava Rod), but you can also catch some very unique fish after acquiring it. To reach it:
- First, travel to the Kohana Island, which is the closest to where you start.
- Disembark at the dock area and take the tunnel behind the waterwheel.
- Go into the cave, behind the small stream, and you will enter the Volcano itself.
Do note that while you can fish in any lava pool inside the Kohana Volcano, touching the lava will instantly kill you. This should be your grind spot until you get a rod with over 100% luck.

Mid and Late Game
Below is a list of all the best locations where you should go AFK to use the Auto Fishing feature in Fish It once you have a rod with good enough stats.
Megalodon Hunt
This is a location-specific event that can spawn on a Fish It server. However, the location will change, making it hard to go AFK for long periods of time. The reason these are so good is that you have a chance to get the Mythic Megalodon fish at these spots. While they can be hard to find, look out for red fins on the horizon while boating around the ocean.

Treasure Room
The Treasure Room is at the lowest depths of the Lost Isles. You can only access this after you have the diving gear for 75K coins. The Treasure Room is a prime location for going AFK for long periods of time, as you can get various Mythic and even Secret fish from there. What’s more, players looking to get the Ghostfinn rod will have to catch 300 Rare or Epic fish from this location as part of the quest.
Sisyphus Statue
This is the location where you should AFK after you are done with the 300 Rare or Epic fish in the Treasure Room. Both locations share most of their beastiary, and you need to catch some more fish here to complete the Ghostfinn quest. However, the Sisyphus Statue is the only location in Fish It where you can get the elusive Robot Kraken Secret fish. This is one of the rarest fish in the game, and will require a lot of farming.
Sacred Temple
Released in the Ancient Jungle update, this is a location on the Ancient Jungle island. You have to first find all of the levers to open the temple door before you can get inside. While it may take some time, it is totally worth it, as the Sacred Temple is currently one of the best places to AFK farm in Fish It due to its rare catches.
Late-game Fish It players must farm at the Sacred Temple, as you need to catch the Secret-tier fish at this spot to unlock the Element Rod. This is one of the best rods you can get in the game, making Sacred Temple a top spot for farming in Fish It.
