Learn how to take on the Twisted Serpent boss battle in Ball X Pit by studying its attack patterns to unlock reward items.
The Twisted Serpent is the final boss for the third level in Ball X Pit, The Liminal X Desert. The level of difficulty increases during this stage, with quicksand patches across the map to slow you down. Some enemies also shoot laser beams along with their occasional projectiles. After clearing the two checkpoints, you will then face the Twisted Serpent King. Once you get the hang of the patterns, you will be able to clear this level in no time.

Twisted Serpent Boss Battle overview in Ball X Pit
The Twsited Serpent King begins with three stages of armor. As you continue to inflict damage on it, the armor will break one by one till the bare body of the boss is on the bottom level. Each armor comes with its own patterns of attacks. The key to the fight is constantly shooting at the enemy. It doesn’t matter if you look for rebounds, back wall hits, or direct hits, as every hit counts.
Spray Bullets
During the first stage of the fight, the boss will resort to sending out projectiles of shards in a rotating manner. These are easy to dodge if you are standing at the very end of your side. The more distance they travel, the more the distance between the bullets increases. Once you destroy the biggest armor around the boss, he will come down by one level.
Laser Strikes
At the second stage, the boss will now resort to dealing damage with laser strikes from holes around its armor. The snake will also rotate its body, changing the direction of the laser strikes each time. When it projects the red laser, that is the time frame you have within which you can escape from the line of fire. After a couple of seconds, the laser will fire across this line. Once you take out this layer of armor, you go to the third stage.
Laser Strikes From the Mouth
During this stage, the boss will begin to inflict damage using laser strikes from its mouth. These are much deadlier than the one it shoots from its body, dealing much more damage. These also give a lesser time to escape from the line of fire. Keep your distance from the boss to have enough time to escape, and keep directing your aim towards the boss for each attack you deal.
Mini-enemies Spawn
The third stage will also feature the spawning of mini-enemies. These especially prove annoying as their primary task is to prevent you from dealing damage to the boss. They will constantly keep respawning, even after you take them out. During this period, landing hits on the boss is tough, so focus more on dodging the laser strikes they will be dealing to you. As soon as you break through this armor, the snake will finally reach the floor.
Final Stage
The final stage is a mix of laser strikes from the mouth, bullet sprays, and mini-enemies spawn. This round is fast-paced, and you will constantly need to keep moving. It is much easier to attack the boss, as the balls are much freer with their rebounds.
Rewards For Defeating the Twisted Serpent Boss
After successfully defeating the Twisted Serpent, you unlock the following items:
| Light | Blinds enemies on hit for three seconds. Blinded units have a hard time detecting you and have a 50% chance of missing when they attack. |
| Vampire Sword | Each kill heals you by 5. But each shot you take deals 2 damage to you. Once your health is at the lowest bar, the next enemy hit will kill you. |
| Silver Blindfold | Increase crit chance to 20% when hitting blinded enemies |
| Deadeye’s Amulet | Critical hits deal 13-20 bonus damage. |
