This Megabonk guide will go over how to unlock Noelle, one of the strongest crowd-control characters in the game.
Megabonk has a massive roster of characters, all of whom play incredibly differently. Noelle is a character for those who struggle with crowd control. Her Frostwalker ability allows her to freeze mobs, and Endurance allows her to increase size progressively as she levels up. Since Megabonk is a game about managing and controlling ever-increasing mobs, Noelle is naturally a character you want to unlock.
The problem, however, is that Noelle has a fairly complicated unlocking process. This makes her one of the hardest characters to unlock in the game, and you’ll be spending quite a few hours in-game before you can get her in your roster. How To Unlock Noelle in Megabonk
Unlock Requirements
You unlock Noelle in Megabonk by following the steps below:
- Unlock the Frostwalker weapon. We have covered this in detail in our guide, but in short, you can do so by using the Ice Cube to freeze 1000 enemies.
- Use the newly unlocked Frostwalker to kill 50 enemies and unlock the Ice Crystal.
- Now that you have the Ice Crystal unlocked, use the yellow microwave to create 3 Ice Crystals in one run.

How To Make the Grind Easier
Once you follow all of these steps, you will unlock Noelle. Seems simple enough? It is, but it requires a fair bit of grinding. First, you have to unlock the Frostwalker and the Ice Crystals. There is no way to bypass this grind, but you can make it a bit easier by grinding out the maps with higher enemy populations. Make sure to use the swarm phases to quickly stack up a large number of kills.
Once you finally have the two, you then have to find a microwave and use it to duplicate the Ice Crystal. The microwave is a yellow item, so it is incredibly rare to find it during a run. You’re at the mercy of RNG when it comes to this, but it won’t take more than 3-4 runs to find this item. Keep replaying and thoroughly exploring the map to find the microwave. Then, use it to duplicate the Ice Crystal, and you can get your hands on Noelle right after the run.
