Should You Buy (or Pre-Order) Resident Evil Deluxe Edition?

The Deluxe Edition for RE Requiem is priced at $80. As such, it’s understandable that most players will be skeptical about picking this edition up. However, the Deluxe Edition is only $10 more expensive than the Standard Edition. And for that extra $10, you’re getting access to a host of additional in-game bonuses. That said, considering the price, the Deluxe Edition isn’t really worth getting, not at release.
Instead, you can simply buy the Standard Edition, and later down the road, grab the Deluxe Kit DLC, preferably during a discount. All the bonuses included in the Deluxe Edition, as well as the pre-order bonus, will be available as paid DLCs after the release of RE Requiem. As such, you can grab said DLCs at a later date, if you end up enjoying the game in the first place.
Furthermore, Resident Evil games and their DLCs usually go on sale roughly a year after release. And you can simply grab the Deluxe Edition DLCs at a much lower discounted price during such sales.
