This Arc Raiders guide will go over how to craft weapons in the game, so you’re ready for whatever challenges may come your way.
Arc Raiders is an extraction shooter that incentivizes you to loot and extract, and some of what you manage to escape with, you can then use to craft weapons. The game has an extensive crafting system that allows you to craft different weapons, which all contribute to combat scenarios and playstyles in different ways.
While the weapon crafting system may seem like a novelty at a glance, you cannot afford not to use it. As you head into the mid-to-late game, you need top-tier weapons, and this system is key to surviving the challenges. If you’re not familiar with crafting weapons in Arc Raiders, this guide will tell you all you need to know.

How To Craft Weapons in Arc Raiders
You can craft weapons by using the Workbench at the Workshop. The steps below should help with that:
- Load into the Arc Raiders main menu.
- Click on the Workshop tab at the top of your screen. This is the second tab from the left.
- Once you’re in the Workshop, you’ll see a Workbench. Interact with this Workbench to open the crafting menu.
- You can then use the bench to craft weapons and other items. To craft, you’ll need the blueprint for the weapon you wish to craft, as well as the crafting material needed for the weapon. Both of these things you can find by simply playing the game and exploring the maps.

How To Upgrade Weapons in Arc Raiders
Once you have the weapon you need, you can then work to make it stronger. Once again, you have to use the Workshop for this purpose. Follow the steps below:
- Get into the Arc Raiders main menu.
- Click on the Workshop tab at the top of your screen. This is the second tab from the left.
- In the Workshop, look to the bottom of your screen. You’ll see several slots, of which the Workbench is one. Click on any empty slot next to this, and you’ll be able to install a Gunsmith I workbench. You need 20 Metal Parts and 30 Rubber Parts to do so.
- Use the Gunsmith I Workbench to upgrade your weapons.
