Best Hippowdon Moveset in Legends Z-A
The best moves for Hippowdon in Pokemon Legends Z-A are:
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Amnesia
Earthquake is the go-to physical Ground-type move. Given that Hippowdon is a Ground-type physical attacker, it only stands to reason that its primary move is Earthquake.

As stated above, Hippowdon does not have a Mega Evolution. However, this does open up an opportunity for it to use some other items. Some of the best ones to use on Hippowdon are Assault Vest and Leftovers.
The Assault Vest can enhance its low Special Defense while Leftovers help it regenerate over time. Both items help Hippowdon survive longer and make it a more viable tank.
