Mega Lopunny is a threat to watch out for when it is using the best moveset and nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
Lopunny is a great Normal-type Pokemon to use in Legends Z-A. On top of this, it gains the Fighting-type upon Mega Evolution, which lets it gain Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) on those moves as well.
It is a great Physical attacker, and can become extremely strong from a simple Attack buff. This moveset and nature for Lopunny will let you deal with almost any threat in the game.
Best Lopunny Moveset in Pokemon Legends Z-A
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Giga Impact
Swords Dance is the priority you should focus on. This will let you increase your Attack stat and deal increased damage as a result. This will tie in nicely with the rest of the moveset. All the other moves for Lopunny mentioned above are Physical moves.
Close Combat is one of the strongest Physical Fighting moves. It has a base power of 120, with the only drawback of lowering your Defense and Special Defense. So, you should be careful while using it.
Ice Punch is great for countering many of the strongest Dragon-type Pokemon. These include Pokemon like Garchomp and Dragonite, both of which are four times weak to Ice. Other than these, it will also let you deal with Flying-type Pokemon, which are going to be a particular weakness for Lopunny, especially after Mega Evolution.
Giga Impact is going to be the final move in your arsenal. Lopunny is a Normal-type Pokemon, so it will get STAB on this move. On top of that, Giga Impact is one of the highest-power moves in the entire game. Combined with Lopunny’s high Attack stat, this move can be devastating when used right.
Although you should be careful against Ghost-type Pokemon as they will be immune to Normal and Fighting-type moves. Normally, this would not be an issue. However, the loss of the Scrappy Ability will affect Lopunny significantly.
Best Lopunny Nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A
You should definitely use Nature Mints to get a favorable nature for Lopunny. This decision will be quite simple, since Lopunny has a very low Special Attack stat. It has no use for this stat either. So, you can sacrifice it to get a boost in other sectors.
- Adamant (+Atk/-SpA)
Alternatively, you could also opt for an Impish or Careful nature. These will improve your defensive stats, without any affect on your Attack stat.
Lopunny Stats and Location
You will need to first catch a Buneary to evolve it into Lopunny. You can do so at Wild Zone 6. Alternatively, you can catch a guaranteed Alpha Lopunny in Wild Zone 18. Lopunny’s stats are as follows:
- HP: 65
- Attack: 76
- Defense: 84
- Special Attack: 54
- Special Defense: 96
- Speed: 105
You can Mega Evolve Lopunny into Mega Lopunny as well. After Mega Evolution, its stats are as follows:
- HP: 65
- Attack: 136
- Defense: 94
- Special Attack: 54
- Special Defense: 96
- Speed: 135
