Discover guaranteed locations for Mushroom spawns in Arc Raiders and learn how to safely gather them for the Scrappy Level 5 upgrade.
Mushrooms are a rare and elusive resource in Arc Raiders. Unlike most other plants and fruits, they usually grow on the surface of trees. Although Mushrooms have the “Nature” tag, you can find them in very few locations reliably. Collecting Mushrooms is an important part of upgrading Scrappy to the final level.
Once maxed out, Scrappy will frequently haul in large batches of crafting resources in his collection box for you to use in the Workshop stations. This enhancement is particularly useful to craft gear and consumables that you frequently use or lose during raids.

Where To Find Mushrooms in Arc Raiders
The best location to find Mushrooms in Arc Raiders is the Hydroponic Dome complex and the Swamp region. Both areas can be found in the Dam Battlegrounds map. The Swamp includes the forested area to the west, while the Hydroponic Dome complex is a high-value loot area south of Victory Ridge.
- Head inside the Hydroponic Dome, and you have a chance to find two Mushrooms growing within the pools of water.
- Another cluster of Mushrooms grows on a tree south of the Hydroponic Dome complex, just south of the fallen tree by the water.
- There is a tree trunk on the western end of the Hydroponic Dome complex area that spawns a cluster of Mushrooms on its surface.
- Besides the marked locations, you can find Mushrooms on trees across the Swamp, and even one cluster growing on a log in the center of the forested Wreckage area.
Once you have collected the Mushrooms, store them in the Safe Pocket of your inventory. Mushrooms are rare resources, and their spawn locations are often farmed by players, making them even harder to find. Slotting them into your Safe Pocket means you can preserve up to 10 Mushrooms even if you fail to extract.

Best Mushroom Uses in Arc Raiders
The best use of Mushrooms is to unlock the Scrappy Level 5 (Master Hoarder) upgrade. Any Mushrooms you find while topside should be conserved for this upgrade, as it will substantially boost Scrappy’s passive resource collection. If you have already maxed out Scrappy’s upgrades, the Mushrooms can be consumed to recover 15 Health. However, we do not recommend using them as food items, as they are far more valuable to sell for a price of 1000 coins per item.
