The Sentinel Core in Arc Raiders is a rare drop from Sentinels and provides high-tier gear. Here’s how you can farm more of it.
Sentinel Cores in Arc Raiders become important a bit later, as they are required to craft many high-tier gear for you. Early quests don’t provide a lot, so you have to stick to farming Sentinels. They are static turrets, mostly found inside buildings, and are easy to destroy. Here’s how you can farm Sentinel Cores fast from the early game.
Farming Sentinel Cores in Arc Raiders
Sentinel Cores in Arc Raiders can only be obtained by shooting down Sentinels. These ARC machines don’t deal a lot of damage if you know how to deal with them. Usually found inside buildings, you can shoot them down easily with a Ferro or a Sniper. However, as you will normally farm them inside buildings, you are bound to attract more ARCs and other raiders. Sentinel Cores are needed to upgrade your workbench and gunsmith.
The Sentinels always scan first with their orange laser and shoot later. So make sure to avoid the laser with a cover.
Dam Battlegrounds
Sentinels in Dam Battlegrounds are normally located in the Power Generation Complex, the Hydroponic Dome Complex, and Research and Administration. Buildings in Research and Administration have a few Sentinels that spawn inside the buildings. All the areas mentioned are high-tier loot areas, so you’ll have to fight other raiders as well. After you obtain a sentinel core, make sure to put it in your safe pocket. So, even if you’re downed, you’ll obtain the core after respawn.
Buried City
Buried City Sentinels are usually located around the New District and a few hundred meters to its south. There, the Sentinel sits atop a tower, and you can destroy it using melee attacks if you flank it. The Town Hall, Hospital, and Research buildings also contain a Sentinel scanning the surroundings.
Acerra Spaceport
Acerra Spaceport is a high loot map, so Sentinels usually spawn almost anywhere. However, only the most experienced and high-level players generally raid here. So, if you’re still a beginner raider, farm Dam Battlegrounds and other maps first.
Blue Gate
Blue Gate has the lowest number of Sentinels out of any map in Arc Raiders currently. The Checkpoint has one Sentinel, located dead middle of the map. There’s another Sentinel on the north side, near the lookout towers of the main gate.
