Obtaining Medusa’s Head
The gear has a 15% chance to drop when opening a Candy Spooky Crate. This is a new crate added during the Halloween Event, making Medusa’s Head a limited gear. You can get the Candy Spooky Crate for 50 Candy Corns from the Halloween Event Shop on the Central Island. To buy it:
- Launch Plants Vs Brainrots during the Halloween Event.
- Slay Brainrots with the Pumpkin/Headless/CandyCorn mutations that spawn on the treadmill to get Candy Corn.
- Travel to the Central Island and spend 50 Candy Corn to buy a Candy Spooky Crate.
- As Medusa’s Head has a 15% crop chance, you may need to open multiple crates to get the gear.
What Does Medusa’s Head Do?
Like the Greek myth, using Medusa’s Head in Plants Vs Brainrots petrifies all of the enemies on the treadmill. Petrified Brainrots cannot move for a few seconds, giving your Plants some breathing room and allowing you to chip away at their health using your bat. This works much like the Overgrowth card, in stopping all of the enemies in their tracks and extending the time for your plants to attack them.
To use the Medusa’s Head:
- Equip the gear from your Inventory.
- Press Mouse Button 1 on PC, or tap anywhere on your screen on mobile.
Petrified enemies look like stone sculptures, just like the Medusa gorgon myth. However, the effect is temporary.
