Locate the Baron Husk and collect the ARC Powercell from it to complete the A Dormant Baron quest in Arc Raiders. Here’s how to do it.
A Dormant Baron quest in Arc Raider will give you the objective of locating an inactive Baron Husk and safely collecting a specific item from it. You can get this mission from Shani and complete it by going to any of the maps in the game. After collecting the ARC Powercell from the dormant spider-like mechanical chassis, you must avoid an explosion and return to base. If all of that sounds a bit confusing, do not worry, this walkthrough will clear things up for you.
How To Complete A Dormant Baron Quest in Arc Raiders
After taking A Dorman Baron quest from the trader Shani, you will get the following note:
“During the First Wave, the Barons did more damage than all the other machines combined. Now they’re mere husks; fixed in place where they once fell…. Still, their internals might hold the answer to keeping ARC at bay. So open one up, and bring me whatever is inside.”
You can begin this mission and complete the objective by finding the Baron Husk in any of the three maps in the game, including Dam Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, or Spaceport. However, for this article, we will talk about the South Swamp area.
After you arrive at the South Swamp outpost, you will find the Baron Husk nearby. But before you proceed, note that the area will be protected by multiple ARC robots. Thus, we recommend deciding whether you want to go with stealth or direct combat beforehand. After finding the Baron Husk, you must climb on top of the mechanical spider and break the seal.
Then, simply collect the ARC Powercell, which you will need to complete the objective, and immediately move to a safe distance because the Baron Husk will explode. If you are not quick enough, you will take significant damage. That is about it, safely extract from the raid and go back to Shani to complete the A Dormant Baron quest in Arc Raiders.

Despite sounding a bit scary, A Dormant Baron is quite a straightforward mission that does not give you much trouble with the right strategy. After completing the quest and returning to Shani, you will get the following items as rewards:
- 3x Door Blocker
- 3x Li’l Smoke Grenade
- Arc Powercell
