Since looting and crafting is an essential part of Arc Raiders, your stash and backpack storage become quite important once you move on from the early stages of the game. Even though you will quickly find yourself running out of space, thankfully, there are ways to expand both your stash and backpack capacity. In this guide, we will go over all the methods to do so, allowing you to carry, extract, and store as many resources, materials, and items as possible.
How To Expand Stash Storage in Arc Raiders
At the beginning of your playthrough, you will have 64 slots in your stash storage. That is a decent amount of space during the early stages of the game. However, as you progress and go on more raids, you will eventually need more space to store your resources. You can always sell or recycle some of the dead wood, but as crafting costs increase, that option becomes limited.
So, to expand your Stash Storage in Arc Raiders, follow these steps:
- Go to the Main Menu and then navigate to your inventory tab.
- Between Loadout and Stash, you will find an “Expand” button. Click on it.
- Spend coins for increasing the number if slots in your stash. You can also upgrade them to max.
When you expand your stash for the first time, it will cost around 5,000 Coins for an extra 24 slots. Each subsequent upgrade costs 5,000 Coins more than the last. For example, the second and third upgrades cost 10,000 and 15,000 Coins, respectively. Once you upgrade to the maximum capacity, you will have a total of 200 slots.

How To Expand Backpack Storage in Arc Raiders
Expanding backpack storage in Arc Raiders works differently than expanding the stash. Instead of directly increasing the capacity, you must use Looting Augments. These augments are designed to expand your backpack storage, allowing you to carry and extract more items. This is particularly useful in an extraction shooter, especially if you like collecting everything you find.
