Will Sonic Rumble Be Available on the Xbox Game Pass in the Future?
Currently, there are no confirmations about whether Sonic Rumble will be available on the Xbox Game Pass in the future. Neither SEGA nor Rovio Entertainment has shared the possibility of the game being added to the monthly subscription service. Nevertheless, the game will release as a free-to-play title. This means everyone can play the game on compatible devices.
The game will be available for PC via Steam, as well as Android and iOS devices. There is no news if it will see a console release in the future. For now, players can only access the game on the platforms mentioned.
Sonic Rumble Release Date
Sonic Rumble is set for release on November 5, 2025, for all supported platforms. Pre-registrations for the game are also ongoing. Originally, the milestone rewards required a total of only 1.4 million pre-registrations. However, the game received ten times that amount, with over 10 million players registering and showing interest. That said, SEGA celebrates this milestone with a bonus item that all players will receive upon logging in to the game. If you plan to play the game, check your in-game mail for the rewards, including some cosmetics like the Movie Sonic skin.
Developed by Rovio Entertainment and SEGA, Sonic Rumble is a free-to-play, large-scale, multiplayer party game. Up to 32 players can compete in a match featuring various rounds with varying obstacles. The stages feature a toy-themed design inspired by Dr. Eggman, the main protagonist of the Sonic series. The game has gameplay mechanics similar to those of Fall Guys, another party-style game. If you have played games that replicate the same style, you will feel right at home playing Sonic Rumble.
