The Unknown Red Alien is one of the most unique and challenging bosses you can encounter in Escape From Duckov. The boss itself has no name or health bar, yet it is much tougher than any other enemy on the map. Wherever the Red Alien moves, it creates a mini storm-like zone that covers the surrounding area in red mist. However, if you manage to defeat it, you can get one of the strongest elemental weapon recipes in the game.

Unknown Red Alien Location in Escape From Duckov
In Escape From Duckov, the Unknown Red Alien can spawn anywhere in the Farm Town region. Whenever it spawns on the map, you’ll see a giant red circle with a question mark in the middle displayed at the location. Furthermore, the circle updates in real time, always following the Red Alien. You can find the boss right at the center of the circle.
Note that it does not have a guaranteed spawn chance, so you might have to visit Farm Town quite a few times to encounter it.

As mentioned earlier, the Unknown Red Alien has neither a name nor a health bar. Therefore, it’s impossible to determine its exact health at any moment. The boss uses its hand to fire a barrage of laser projectiles at a very high rate. Additionally, each shot can significantly reduce your health and apply the Pain status, which slows you down temporarily.
The Red Alien moves at a relatively faster pace, so that it can get close to its enemies quite quickly. Note that the boss attacks any nearby creature, which includes every entity on the map.

Here are some tips and tricks you can use to defeat the Unknown Red Alien in Escape From Duckov easily:
- The Red Alien takes increased elemental damage. Therefore, try using weapons like the Electrified MP5 or various types of grenades. However, you have to get close to the enemy, which is very risky.
- Never get close to the boss, as the laser barrage can melt your entire health bar in an instant. Always stay far away and keep moving in a zigzag pattern to avoid getting hit.
- It is highly recommended to use guns that can deal damage from afar if you do not have a lot of health. Therefore, use either Assault Rifles with scopes or Sniper Rifles.
- Due to the high health of the boss, you should use Armor Piercing bullets of any kind, as those deal more damage than regular ammo.
- You should lure the Red Alien toward nearby enemies to make them fight it. This can create excellent opportunities to heal or use other items.
- If you’re struggling to beat the boss, you can always lower the difficulty to make the fight much more favorable for you.
