Locate the Dead Drop with the Buried City in Arc Raiders to complete the Digging Up Dirt quest and win rewards.
Out of the many quests given to you by the five different traders in Arc Raiders, Digging Up Dirt is one of the easier ones to accomplish. This is an explorative-themed quest where you will need to locate a ‘Dead Drop’ within some houses and scan it to complete the objective.
This objective needs to be completed within a single attempt and does not require you to take any resources back home. So even if you die or make a safe extraction, nevertheless, the quest will be marked as complete. In this article, we will be looking at how to complete the Digging Up Dirt quest in Arc Raiders.
Digging Up Dirt Quest Overview in Arc Raiders
You will receive this quest from the trader, Celeste. For the successful completion of the quest, you will need to complete the following objectives.
- Locate the Santa Maria Houses in Old Town
- Locate the Dead Drop inside the Courtyard

How To Complete the Digging Up Direct Quest
For this quest, you will first need to head to the Buried City map in Arc Raiders. From here, go to the Santa Maria Houses, exactly between the Town Hall and Plaza Rosa. For starters, you will need to reach the roof of the second house on the map, where the blip shows. Once there, you will see an opening through which you can enter the building.
Once you are inside, run forward and you will see another opening to go further down. You can use the zipline attached to avoid losing health via fall damage. Once you are down, take a left and run to the main hall through the opening in the wall. Now make one final jump, and in the center of the room you will find the ‘Dead Drop.’ Interact with it by searching the Dead Drop, and the objective will be marked as complete. This will also end the quest. You can now peacefully return to Speranza and claim your reward.
