Ghosts are special enemies that take almost no damage from regular weapons in Escape From Duckov. Here’s how to defeat them easily.
In Escape From Duckov, the Ghosts are a new enemy type added in the Halloween update. They are unique enemies because regular guns and melee weapons deal little damage to them. Additionally, these spooky enemies wield scythes that have a high critical chance and damage, meaning they can kill you in just a few hits even when you’re wearing high-tier armor.

How To Defeat Ghosts in Escape From Duckov
Despite the Ghosts being challenging enemies, there are actually quite a few ways through which you can damage them normally. As mentioned earlier, standard weapons deal nearly no damage to the Ghosts, so you have to rely on some new weapons made explicitly for the ghost-hunting job. That said, here are all of them:
Coin Sword
The Coin Sword is a melee weapon you can craft in your hideout. However, you must first purchase the recipe from the Street Vendor for 66,666 Cash, which is a very high price. Once you craft the sword, you can use it like any other melee weapon, allowing you to hit Ghosts and kill them with one swing on normal difficulty. Out of all the weapons, this is the best option if you can afford the recipe.
Psionic Gun
The Psionic Gun is a special type of shotgun that you can craft after completing the “Ghost-Busting Squad” mission. You have to defeat eight Ghosts and collect three Psionic Matter, then buy the recipe from Xavier after turning in the quest. While being much cheaper than the Coin Sword, you still have to defeat quite a few Ghosts to be able to obtain this weapon.

Psionic Scythe
The Psionic Scythe is the weapon that Ghosts use to attack you. However, there is a very low chance they will drop the scythe so that you can use it against them instead. The Psionic Scythe is nearly identical in damage when compared to the Coin Sword, but has a lower attack speed.
It is highly recommended to use this weapon if you are lucky enough to obtain it after killing a few Ghosts
