Learn where to search for Power Cables in Arc Raiders to find the rare resource reliably in every match and upgrade the Gear Bench.
Power Cable is a rare crafting resource in Arc Raiders primarily used to upgrade the Gear Bench, a station in the Workshop. It can also be salvaged and recycled for Wires, a valuable material required for a variety of other upgrades and blueprints. Despite their seemingly mundane nature, Power Cables can be difficult to find and loot reliably.
Arc Raiders: Power Cables Farming Guide
Power Cable has the Electric, Commercial, and Residential tags, which means it can be found in Electric, Commercial, and Residential areas, identifiable by their respective symbols. While you can try to find Power Cables by searching through areas with these tags, most of these locations will likely be looted by the time you get to them.

Dam Battlegrounds
The best spots to find Power Cables in Arc Raiders are the Field Depots near the Electric, Commercial and Residential areas of Dam Battlegrounds. Some Power Cable spawns include the locations listed below.
- Field Depot to the east of the Power Generation Complex. Search the drawers of the computer desk inside the depot to find Power Cables if they haven’t been looted already. You can also search any cupboards and drawers in the nearby buildings to find more Power Cables.
- The Field Depot south of the Electrical Substation is another guaranteed spawn. It is situated exactly between the Water Towers and the Electrical Substation in the southwest corner of the map. The substation itself rarely contains Power Cables, but you can find them in the sheds surrounding it.
- The Testing Annex and the Electrical Tower to its east are potential spots to find Power Cables if you spawn in the area. There is a Field Depot located west of the Testing Annex, in the Red Lakes Balcony area.
While the Dam Battlegrounds map seems to contain the highest volume of Power Cable spawns, you can also find them on other maps by searching in and around locations with the appropriate tags.

Spaceport
- Fuel Control has the Electrical tag and several containers for you to search. There is also a Utility Crate to open directly southeast of the area, halfway to the Launch Towers.
- Search Control Tower A6, its cabinets, and desks, to find Power Cables.
Buried City
- Piazza Arbusto is a Commercial area with a Utility Crate near it to the west.
- Space Travel and Research is a contested zone where you can find Power Cables
- Santa Maria Houses and Plaza Rosa are Residential and Commercial spots with plenty of lockers, drawers, and other containers for you to rifle through to get Power Cables.
