This Arc Raiders guide will go over the “A Better Use” quest in Arc Raiders, detailing the mission objectives and how to accomplish them.
Arc Raiders has a ton of quests that send you out to the surface to complete specific tasks, but the “A Better Use” quest is one of the more frustrating ones in the game. In this quest, the trader Tian Wen sends you out into the world to call and loot a supply drop.
The task is easier said than done, with dozens of Arcs prowling the area, and the possibility of PvP only makes the quest harder. If you’ve just received the “A Better Use” quest from Tian Wei and need help completing it, our guide is here to walk you through it.

How To Complete A Better Use Quest in Arc Raiders
Mission Objectives
In the “A Better Use” quest, Tian Wen wants you to accomplish the following objectives:
- Request a Supply Drop from a Call Station.
- Loot the Supply Drop that comes in.
You have to accomplish these objectives in the Buried City map, the Space Port map, the Dam Battlegrounds, or the Blue Gate Map. Any map works, but if we had to pick just one, we’d suggest the Dam Battlegrounds, as it is the easiest one to deal with.

Completing the Quest
Spawn into the Dam Battlegrounds map (or any other map of your choice), and look for the Call Station icon on your map. This icon looks like a tower with a network signal, and is very easily identifiable. Set a waypoint for this station, and head over to the area.
Once you’re at the Call Station, interact with it to summon a supply drop. Your character will then shoot out a flare into the sky to signal for the supply drop. This is where things get tricky. Everyone nearby will be able to see this flare, so they’ll know what you’re up to.
Quickly rush to cover and keep your eyes peeled to the sky. You’ll see the supply drop come in from the sky. Track this drop and head over to its location to loot it and complete the quest. We suggest being sneaky as you go into this area. If you have grenades, use a smoke grenade to quickly mask your approach and loot the drop to complete your objective.
