The latest trailer for the DLC of Pokemon Legends Z-A, Mega Dimensions, gave fans a lot of new information. Not only do we know that this DLC will be available on December 10, 2025, but we also see some returning characters, new mechanics, and new Mega Evolutions. So, let us take a look at five things from the trailer that stood out.
5 Things You Need To Know From the Latest Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimensions Trailer
These are the things that stood out to us after watching the trailer:
- Ansha
- Korrina
- Pokemon over Level 100
- Mega Chimecho
- Mega Baxcalibur
1) Ansha

We see that Hoopa is friends with a little girl named Ansha. In order to access Hyperspace Lumiose, you will need her help to get Hoopa’s cooperation. Additional information indicates that you will need to make donuts with different Pokemon Berries to go where you need to go.
2) Korrina

Pokemon Legends Z-A has seen several returning characters from X and Y. This includes Emma, Mable, AZ, and a reformed Lysandre now going by L. We see another returning face in this trailer, the Fighting-type Gym Leader from X and Y, Korrina. Her appearance isn’t exactly unprecedented, as eagle-eyed players will note that AZ’s Lucario originally belonged to her.
Korrina is now the Mega Evolution Guru, a role previously held by her grandfather Gurkinn. As if to make that extra clear, her new outfit is adorned with multiple Mega Stones. She is the only Trainer with the class “Successor.”
3) Pokemon Over Level 100

Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimensions breaks a long-held series tradition: the maximum level a Pokemon can reach. Yes, Pokemon in Hyperspace Lumiose can be way over Level 100. However, we don’t know how exactly these new high level Pokemon will impact the series or even this game.
4) Mega Chimecho

It is not at all surprising that there would be new Mega Evolutions in this DLC. Still, it has to be a bit of a shock to see Chimecho of all Pokemon get a Mega Evolution. However, considering that Chimecho was a fully evolved Pokemon from Generation III with almost zero presence in the competitive scene or anywhere else, it makes sense. This will probably give Chimecho a much-needed boost in stats and popularity.
5) Mega Baxcalibur

As for Mega Baxcalibur, its base form was already a menace in the competitive scene. However, after Drampa and Falinks, Baxcalibur now becomes the third Pokemon debuting after Generation VI to get a Mega Evolution. This makes it the first Pokemon from the Paldean region to get a Mega Evolution as well. Additional information has stated that the Mega Stone for Baxcalibur, the Baxcalibrite, will be a reward for participating in Season 4 of Ranked Battles.
