Learn how to complete Pokemon Legends Z-A Starmie on High side quest, join Cate’s ritual, and earn rare evolution rewards.
Starmie on High in Pokemon Legends Z-A is the 100th quest in the game. To get this quest, you need to finish Main Mission 35. Once that mission is complete, you can find Cate near Sarson Canal in the Magenta District, between Wild Zone 7 and Wild Zone 20. You can only talk to her during the day, even though the event happens at night.
If you reach early, you can rest on a nearby bench to skip time. Once night falls, Cate invites you to join her group for a Starmie gathering. Saying yes starts the quest.
How To Complete Starmie on High in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Before you join the ritual, make sure you already have a Starmie in your active team. The event will not continue if you do not bring one along. If you still need to catch it, you have a couple of options.
You can catch a Staryu at night in Wild Zone 2 or Wild Zone 10. Evolving it into Starmie only needs a Water Stone, which you can buy from the Stone Emporium after Main Mission 6. If you are lucky, you can also find an Alpha Staryu in Wild Zone 2 with stronger stats.
If you prefer to catch Starmie directly, you can find it at night in Wild Zone 16 near the fountain. You might also see stronger ones in Wild Zone 20 after finishing Main Mission 38. Leaving and returning to the area can refresh the spawn.
Once you have your Starmie ready, meet Cate again at night. A short scene plays out where everyone in the group yells Staaar into the sky as part of the ritual. The cutscene ends soon after, completing the mission.
