You will be able to take the Mixed Signals quest from Shani in Arc Raiders. It is a simple quest with straightforward objectives. All you have to do is locate and destroy an ARC Surveyor and loot the Surveyor Vault from its corpse. Furthermore, the mission does not have any restraints such as locations or single run conditions. So, you can do it anywhere and whenever you want during your raids. As long as you safely extract with the item and report to Shani, the quest will be marked as complete. Shani is the trader who gives you the Mixed Signals quest in Arc Raiders, and once you take it, you see the following quote:
“Have you spotted any Surveyors; the big round ones? They seem to be transmitting data back into orbit, and I can’t help but think it’s tied to that signal we picked up. Will you break one open, so we can try to decipher the data?”
Then you are free to pursue the quest. Here is a summary of the objectives in the mission:
- Destroy an ARC Surveyor
- Obtain 1 Surveyor Vault

How To Complete Mixed Signals Quest in Arc Raiders
The good thing about the Mixed Signals in Arc Raider is that it does not have any required maps. So, you can complete the quest by going to any region in the game. On top of that, the ARC Surveyor can be easily located thanks to the blue laser in the sky that reveals their location. During each raid, you will at least get one Surveyor spawn in, no matter where you are.
So, simply follow the blue laser in the sky to its origin and try to approach the ARC Surveyor. Be cautious and ready because he machine will start to run away from you. Once you are close enough, attack and destroy it before it can run away again.
Loot the fallen body of the robot to get the Surveyor Vault for the mission objective. Put it in your safe pocket and extract it to complete the Mixed Signals quest.
