Destroy the Leaper Arc and collect the Leaper Pulse Unit to complete the Into the Fray quest in Arc Raiders and win rewards.
Into the Fray is one of the more challenging missions to complete in Arc Raiders. Most missions usually have you perform small tasks, such as completing an action in an area or delivering goods found in containers. However, this mission takes things up a notch. Not only do you need to take on one of the fiercest Arcs in the game, but you also need to steal its parts and make a safe escape.
In this article, we will look at how to defeat the Leaper to complete the Into the Fray quest in Arc Raiders.
Into The Fray Quest Overview in Arc Raiders
You will receive the ‘Into the Fray’ quest from the trader, Shani. For this quest, you will need to finish the objectives listed below.
- Destroy a Leaper
- Obtain a Leaper Pulse Unit

Weapons To Carry
When going for the fight, you could consider carrying the following equipment:
- Ferro – Lvl. 4
- Heavy Ammo – 2 stacks (x40)
- Wolfpack – x2
Do consider carrying enough bandages and shield recharges, as the battle may get intense.
How To Defeat The Leaper
Leapers are among the most terrifying Arcs in the game. They are nimble and quick on their feet, and their thrusters allow them to cover large distances within seconds. Regardless of how far away they are when you shoot them, they will quickly close the distance.
One of my favourite places to take the fight on would have to be a small tunnel entrance just beside the Arrival Building, as shown in the Spaceport map. The building has only one entrance, offering a great opportunity to launch attacks. It is also not tall enough for the Leaper to easily follow you inside, giving you ample time to counterattack.
You will usually find a Leaper patrolling around the Launch Towers. Once it gets close enough, take a shot and quickly run to your shelter. Keep spamming attacks and use your Wolfpacks at the right time. Eventually, it will go down, and you can retrieve the Leaper Pulse Unit. Make sure to store it in a safe pocket so you don’t lose it if you die. Once you return to Speranza, deliver it to Shani, and the mission will be marked as completed.

After completing the Into the Fray quest, you will receive the following rewards.
- Radio Renegade (Outfit)
- Burgerboy (Backpack Charm)
- Vulcano III – x1
- Shotgun Ammo – x40
