Apart from this, another way to increase prestige is to form ties with other royalty. Engage in royal marriages and form strong bonds with other nations. This will automatically increase your prestige. Take note that you will also have to maintain these marriages throughout to keep the growth consistent.
Flaunting your wealth is another excellent way to earn respect and increase your empire’s prestige. Invest in your territory, and build your palaces and royal gardens for all to see. This will boost your prestige significantly.
Lastly, you can follow the path of the crusades. You can force territories near you to convert to a religion, which will then bolster the prestige of your empire once they’ve converted. When doing so, you get twenty prestige per conversion, so this is one of the most efficient ways to increase prestige.
