Here is our walkthrough for the Terror of the Sands in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment and what you unlock upon completion.

Zelda and the crew will head to the Gerudo Desert during the Terror of the Sands quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. In there, you meet up with Ardi, who is reluctant to ask for the group’s help at first. This quest is also where you unlock Ardi as a playable character.
She is quite agile, which is a good pick for players who prefer faster combat combos. On top of that, she specializes in Lightning-based attacks. To help you out, here is a walkthrough for the Terror of the Sands quest in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment.
How To Complete Terror of the Sands Quest in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment

Head Toward the Mysterious Construct’s Location
The first section is pretty straightforward. You play as Ardi as you learn her basic controls and combos. You will have to move forward, heading west of the map. You’ll encounter your first major enemy, which is the Blue Hinox. You will need to defeat this enemy and clear the area before the gate opens. You’ll also be capturing outposts along the way. However, you need to do this quest as fast as possible, as one of the goals is to not let these outposts get overrun with enemies.
Defeat the Molduga
Chasing after the Mysterious Construct, you’ll encounter the Moduga, which is a massive fish that can bury itself in the sand. You will have to fight this boss monster to proceed to the next section. Fortunately, the Mysterious Construct and Calamo will be backing you up.
Be on the lookout for when the Molduga emerges from the sand. Keep your distance from the Construct and let it bait the boss so you can safely wait for a time to strike. Hit the massive fish hard enough and it will flob on its back. This will be the best time to throw all you have at it and deal as much damage as you can. Don’t forget about your Sync Strike ability. It’s the perfect time to test out some combos you can use with Ardi.
Clear Out Gibdos From Outposts

Heading to the next outpost, you will encounter a horde of Gibdos with a massive hive that can spawn more of them. Fortunately, Ardi can easily get rid of these hives with one strong attack. Keep in mind that Physical damage will not be effective against these enemies. That said, you will be using Ardi a lot in this section. The next outpost will also have a Gibdos infestation. On top of that, Moth Gibdos will also spawn in this location.
You can try and cancel out their attacks to send them to the hive and immediately destroy it. However, you can always use Ardi to do the job. Once you secure the outposts, you’ll need to keep moving. There will be more waves of enemies waiting to stop you. Your goal now is to reach the final outposts where an Electric Boss Bokoblin is waiting.
Defeat Electric Boss Bokoblin
Make your way to the northeast outpost. This will be the final outpost you need to secure to complete the quest. You will have to go through Electric Bokoblin before you can head to the final boss fight. There will be an Electric Boss Bokoblin you need to defeat at the edge of this area.
Don’t forget that you have the Mysterious Construct at your party. This character has one of the best wave-clearing abilities. This is good for wiping out groups of enemies and opens space for you to focus on the Bokoblin.
