The Sparks Fly quest in Arc Raiders asks you to destroy a Hornet with a Trigger Nade or a Snap Blast grenade. Apollo offers you this mission, and after accepting it, you are on your own and must find the flying robot to complete the objective. Furthermore, there are no specific locations tied to this quest, so you are free to go wherever you want.

Talk to Apollo to get the Sparks Fly quest in Arc Raiders and get the following quote in the quest’s log:
“These Hornet stings can really mess you up, if you’re unlucky. And Even if you destroy one, you’re still wasting a ton of ammo. I’ve been working on a more elegant way to bring them down. Care to make some sparks fly?”
So, as you can see, your primary tasks in this mission are to deal with some Hornets and try to avoid as many stings as possible in the process. With that said, here are the objectives in brief.

How To Complete the Sparks Fly Quest in Arc Raiders
Starting at the beginning, the Sparks Fly quest does not require you to find Hornets in any specific map or region. While you can try to hunt them down anywhere you want, we would recommend checking the rooftops and terraces, especially near residential zones, since these flying robots generally spawn in such areas.
Locating one might take you multiple raids if you are unlucky, but once you do, start the fight when it is advantageous for you. Focus on shooting the machine with your primary weapon first and lower its health as much as possible while dodging any incoming attacks.
Once it is weakened, you can throw your grenade to kill it. Remember, the grenade explosion must defeat it; otherwise, you won’t complete the objective. Thus, we recommend aiming for the hover spot. Additionally, if you have a Trigger Nade you must detonate it manually once it is near the target. You can do so by right-clicking on your mouse. Once you complete all the tasks, you can safely extract, knowing you’ve finished the Sparks Fly Quest in Arc Raiders, and it’s time to reap the rewards.
