This is a detailed beginner’s guide for Sniper Duels, a new PvP first-person Roblox experience. In it, you will form teams to take on other players in a duel to the death. As the game’s name might suggest, all players will be equipped with sniper rifles. You can use the gun and stealth to get the jump on an opposing player. Still, there are other elements to the experience that you should know about too. So, keep reading this guide.
Beginner’s Guide for Sniper Duels
Gameplay Overview
Sniper Duels supports PvP duels for up to 4v4 teams. However, you can also join 1v1 duels if you’re playing solo. At any rate, the duel will begin when you step on the Duel Pad. Each match takes place in rounds. Rounds will end when players from one team manage to kill all of the players in another team. The surviving team wins the round and scores a point. The team that reaches six points the quickest will win the overall match. Keep in mind that each player will only have one life per round. So, there’s no way to revive a fallen team member.
Controls
Here is the complete control scheme for the game:
- WASD: Movement
- Hold right mouse button: Turn the camera
- Shift: Sprint
- Spacebar: Jump
- CTRL: Crouch
- Click right mouse button: Open sniper scope
- Left mouse button: Fire
Leveling Up
when you perform kills and win matches, you get XP, which enables you to level up. Each level up rewards you with in-game currency and might unlock new items for you to use.
Gold Coins
As you participate and win matches, you will earn gold coins, which is the in-game currency. You can spend the coins to buy a variety of items, including Sniper Rifle skins and more. Keep in mind that you can also earn gold coins by completing a variety of in-game challenges. You can find out what challenges are available on the left hand side of the screen.
Shop
The in-game shop is where you go to spend you accumulated coins. Apart from spending coins to unlock better skins for your rifle, you can also choose to purchase and spend Gems here. Gems are the premium currency in the game, and you can buy them using Robux. The gems are available in bundles, and as usual, the bundles with more gems in them will cost more Robux. Besides gems, you can also spend Robux to acquire special XP boosts, which should help you level up quicker and progress faster.
Leaderboard
Sniper Duels also features a leaderboard section where you can check out the top players, in terms of their level, kills and streak. You can even refine the list monthly or set it to reflect the all time top players.
