If you want to clear Maelira’s quest in Fisch, the following guide helps you understand exactly what you need to do.
One of the many new missions within the Cultist Lair is Maelira’s quest in Fisch. This is one of the first quests that you’ll take on after descending into the Cultist Lair. The goal here is simple. You need to fish in the water body that’s inside the lair, and catch certain specific fish. However, if you’re new or don’t know how to catch each of the fish on Maelira’s list, the following guide should be of assistance.
How To Begin Maelira’s Quest in Fisch
To start the quest, you need to first gain access to the Cultist Lair area. Once you’re through, you will run into an NPC wearing purple clothing. It’s one of the first NPCs that you’re gonna find when you enter the lair’s main chamber. Interact with him to get Maelira’s quest. In it, your primary objective is to catch Tetra, Slickhead, Loach, Dragonfish, and Sinocyclocheilus.
Maelira’s Quest in Fisch: Fish Requirements
Besides the Dragonfish, all of the other four are extremely easy to grab. The following are the requirements or preferences for each of these catches:
- Cave Loach: Worm, Foggy, Day, and Autumn
- Abyssal Slickhead: Minnow, Rain, Night, and Summer
- Mexican Tetra: Insect, Foggy, Day, and Summer
- Sinocyclocheilus: Insect, Foggy, Day, and Spring
- Scaly Dragonfish: Minnow, Windy, Night, and Winter
Apart from sticking to these requirements, you don’t need to worry about grabbing a specific fishing rod when looking for these five catches. Equip any of your fishing rod, and patiently try and snag each one. Once you have all of these in your inventory, you can head back to Maelira to hand over the fish. Doing so also completes the quest and lets you claim the reward.
Maelira’s Quest Reward
After patiently catching all five fish, you will receive Maelira’s Amulet Fragment as the reward. This is one of the five amulet fragments that you’ll need to if you plan on progressing through the Cultist Lair content. As you keep completing more quests, you’ll accumulate the other four amulet fragments too. Once that’s done, you can unlock the Dreamer’s Amulet in the game.
