Raging Sands is a key battle in Chapter 2 that you can unlock after finishing Where Ancient Wisdom Sleeps in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment. It takes you to the Gerudo Desert. This is your first major encounter with the Gerudo forces, and it introduces Molduga, a massive desert creature that can crush you in seconds if you are careless. You also meet Commander Ardi, who leads the Gerudo warriors.
You play as Zelda or Rauru here. What makes this mission interesting is that it mixes large-scale combat with resource management.
How To Complete Raging Sands in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment
You start in the southern desert surrounded by swirling sands. Your first goal is to capture the eastern outpost. Sholani, a Gerudo warrior, guards it and will charge at you right away. Focus on dodging her heavy attacks and take her down to reclaim the outpost. Once that is done, new parts of the map open up.
Next, you need to defeat four Gerudo Captains scattered across the map. Two appear first, and the others show up after you beat the initial pair. You can send your ally to handle one while you move toward another. Switching between characters saves time and keeps pressure on all fronts.
After all four captains fall, Molduga appears. This massive creature stays mostly above the sand but sometimes burrows to prepare an aerial strike. Watch its movements carefully. When it leaps, use your anti-air Unique Skill to knock it down. Attack its Weak Point Gauge until it breaks, then land a Smash attack for big damage.
Once Molduga is defeated, Commander Ardi steps in with two Gerudo Captains at her side. This fight is tougher because all three attack together. Use wide-range attacks to hit multiple enemies at once. When both captains charge up an attack together, trigger your anti-charge move to stop them in their tracks. Focus on keeping the group close so you can manage them without losing control of the fight.

- Calamo, the Traveling Korok, who fights with the help of a mechanical companion.
- The Mysterious Construct, a transformable unit that can also fly.
