Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, much like its predecessor, is a Musou-inspired title. However, that’s not to say it doesn’t have any story to speak of. While the gameplay and combat are at the forefront of Age of Imprisonment, it does neatly tie its gameplay elements to its main story. This is best illustrated by the game’s missions or battles.
There are as total of 27 battles in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment’s main story. While some of them do have you battle same enemies, most of them feature a unique boss fight at the end. Furthermore, these battle sequences also help progress the main story, culminating into the iconic battle against Ganondorf.

What Are Quests In Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment?
Quests in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment are optional tasks which reward you with additional crafting and upgrade materials. Furthermore, quests are divided into Character Quests and Other Quests. Character quests are optional and tied to individual character progression. Whereas other quests are usually tied to NPCs or exploration.
