Following the events of Raging Sands, shades launch an attack, signalling Ganendorf’s betrayal. These shades are incredibly dangerous and spell nothing but disaster for Hyrule. In The Hands of Evil battle, you have to confront these shades as the Mysterious Construct “???” and work with Calamo to do so.

The Hands of Evil battle is one of the shorter battles in the game, but if you’re having any trouble with it, we’re here to help. In this guide, we shall go over the Hands of Evil battle in Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment.

Once the cutscene with the shades ends, you’ll take charge of the Mysterious Construct “???”. This character carries a one-handed weapon and a Shield of Zonai. Take control of the character and cut through the shades standing in your way. Head straight, cutting through them, and reach the outpost. The path forward is linear, so you don’t have to worry about losing your way.

Defeat the shades in the outpost, and you’ll find a chest to the side. Calamo will point this chest out for you, and you can unlock it to acquire a Rocket. The Rocket is a Zonai device that lets you move at high speeds and crash into enemies.

Take the Rocket and use it to clear out the path towards the next area. Your objective is to head to Ardi’s position, and the route is a straight dash through the valley. As you cut through the shades with your Rockets, you’ll reach another outpost where you’ll find two Gerudo Captains.

The Gerudo Captains are the final boss encounter of the Hands of Evil battle, and can be pretty difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing. The captains lunge into the air, charging up a tornado to attack you. The attack hits hard and can effectively end your run if you’re not careful. Use anti-charging skills to disrupt this tornado right away, and then defeat the captains to complete the Hands of Evil battle.
