Some Unusual Pokemon is a side quest that makes you battle a Grade-Schooler with an unusual team of Pokemon. In this side mission, you will have to face multiple Galarian Pokemon one after the other. Moreover, these Pokemon have higher stats and damage than their regular counterparts.

Completing the Some Unusual Pokemon side quest early on will reward you with Pokemon Dollars and rare items. However, to unlock it, you have to progress midway through the story.

How To Unlock Some Unusual Pokemon Side Quest in Pokemon Legends Z-A

To unlock the Some Unusual Pokemon side quest, you have to complete Main Mission 26 first. Then the mission becomes available in the Vert Sector of Wild Zone 1. Subsequently, you can start this side quest by talking to a trainer named Touri in the region.

Complete the side mission by defeating Touri and her unusual Pokemon team to progress. This battle will be significantly more difficult, as Touri will utilize Galarian Pokemon. As mentioned earlier, these Pokemon will have higher stats and deal more damage.

How To Defeat Touri

Touri will use Galarian Slowbro and Galarian Slowking in her battle with you consecutively. Both are Poison/Psychic-type Pokemon, which makes them weak against Ghost-, Ground-, and Dark-types. Therefore, make sure to bring a Pokemon that covers one of their weaknesses. This will significantly lower the difficulty of the battle.

Some Unusual Pokemon Side Quest Rewards
