As soon as the introductory cutscene ends, you’re thrust into flight mode, and Calamo is on your back. While the whole sequence may seem trippy at first, it really is very simple. Your screen will stay static, and you have to use the left stick to move around. B is for dodging, and R is for firing a beam.

Use the left stick to move around, and the reticle will move with you. Aim the reticle directly at the enemies, and then press R to fire your beam. Obtain Zonai devices during your flight and use them to clear out large mobs of enemies.

After clearing out a few mobs, you’ll fly closer to the surface, with enemies at the ground level attacking you. Use your Rockets to dispose of them and continue forward. You’ll also have to use the Rockets to clear out any obstacles in your flight path.

Along your path, you’ll find a series of yellow rings. Fly through these rings to obtain Korok seeds. After a few rings and enemies, you’ll then run into Frost Gleeok, the boss of this battle. This boss is fairly simple, and you just have to use B to dodge all of its attacks. Use all the tools available to beat the boss and complete this battle.
