Final Selection Unlock Requirements
As a Slayer Class, the Final Selection acts as a barrier to learning new and powerful techniques such as Breathing Styles. However, you cannot start it before meeting these requirements:
- You must be Kanoto Rank. This is the third rank in the Slayer Class.
- Then, talk to a Trainer whose Breathing Style you want to learn on the map to initiate the Final Selection quest.
Tips To Easily Complete the Final Selection in New Moon
The Final Selection is a mission that starts at night, where you have to survive waves of Demons for about ten minutes till the sun comes up. After meeting the requirements listed in the previous section, follow these steps to complete Final Selection:
- At Kanoto Rank, locate and talk to a trainer. Press ‘P’ to see all NPC locations to make it easier.
- Once the Final Selection quest is active on the left side of your screen, make your way to the teleporter.
- You can find it outside the village at the beginning of the game in a glade surrounded by purple flowers.
- Stand above the teleporter stone and wait for the mission to begin.
- All players on the stone will get teleported to an arena where Demons will continuously spawn. Your objective is to survive till daylight, which takes 10 minutes.
- You can choose to fight, but it is much easier to just find high ground and go AFK, as Demons will not climb up to you.
- Make it till daybreak, and a message will pop up congratulating you.
- This will rank you up to Kanoe.
