Arc Raiders is an extraction simulator where you embark on missions to the topside and survive the wrath of other raiders and Arcs. Apart from that, you need to scavenge materials to take back with you to later use for various crafting purposes. One such rare item to locate is the cooling fan, which serves an important use for progression with a certain project.

Cooling Fan Overview in Arc Raiders
Cooling fans may just be one of the most annoying items to scout in Arc Raiders. While the applications for this item are limited, finding them in times of need is tough. One such use of the item is for stage 2 of the Exhibition Project. For this, you will need to gather a total of five cooling fans in order to proceed to the next level of this project.
Apart from crafting purposes, you can decide to sell your cooling fan for 2,000 coins. Lastly, you can also choose to recycle your cooling fan to receive other items, which are as follows:

Where To Find a Cooling Fan
One of our go-to places to acquire a cooling fan is the Space Travel building in Buried City. While there are different buildings across the various maps where you can find this item, this particular place hosts a lot of other goods to collect as well. Cooling fans have a higher probability of being found inside the electric search cabinets, which you will need to breach to search.
Once you reach this building, head up to the fourth and fifth floors. On these floors, head towards the right side into the open hall. In this room, take a right, and across the entire wall, you will find a number of these cabinets. Breach and search them to hopefully find yourself a cooling fan.
